We are pleased to announce that today we have launched version 2 of the Sibme application. Our goal since day one has been to create a useful application that allows teachers and instructional leaders to collaborate around instruction more frequently. We have spent a lot of time this past year gathering feedback from users in order to improve our existing application. We realize not every educator follows the same development process, so that’s why we made the application as flexible as possible without compromising quality and process.
We are big proponents of using video to improve instruction, and we realized from the beginning that Sibme had to be as user friendly as possible or teachers and instructional leaders wouldn’t use the product. At the end of the day, improving communication leads to better teacher development.
We’ve always felt that most software in education is too cumbersome to use and has too many features, which makes applications clunky and unusable. We are firm believers in minimizing the amount of features offered and only providing the essentials when it comes to making the teacher development process more efficient.
Our process allows you to focus more on teaching and learning rather than learning to use cumbersome software. If it doesn’t make your lives easier and your work life more efficient than we shouldn’t exist. We are confident in version 2 that we have accomplished this feat, and we think you will be pleasantly surprised at how useful and easy Sibme is to use for your department, school, institution, or education-related organization.
